Introduction Text
You have watched as your teen has struggled with internal battles. They won't let you in to help or if they do, it becomes overwhelming trying to figure out how to help your teen.

You see the impact your teen's struggles are having on you, your family and the teen themselves. You want the teen that you used to know back.

You are a teen yourself and are waging war against the inner battles that you are experiencing. There is a feeling of hopelessness as you work hard to try to get on top again but continue to get knocked down.
Problem Iteration
Parents often seek teen therapy out of concern for their teen's struggles. Changes in mood and behavior, that seem more than normal teenage angst, cause parents to worry. The once happy teen has vanished leaving a teen mired in emotional turmoil and hurt.
As parents, we look back to try to find a key moment or events that could have brought about these changes. Parents can become frustrated and overwhelmed trying everything to help their teen. Despite all the efforts by the parents to help, the problems still persist.
The emotional toll that parents experience is heavy. It begins to encroach on and impact work and personal relationships. Parents may start to question themselves on whether they have done enough. Doubts start to enter causing concern about if they have done the 'right' things or 'wrong' things.

How we can help
Parents hurt to see their teens struggle with emotional or behavioral problems. While their teen struggles, parents work hard to maintain the peace and happiness in the home.
Teens often do not understand exactly where these struggles are coming from. The thoughts and feelings they are experiencing may be new for them and are complex. Teens may not have the words to describe their inner experience.
