Sharing Our Expertise With the Teens & Families in Katy, Tx & Houston
Jason opened Katy Teen & Family Counseling and hires other teen therapy, young adult counselors, and family counseling specialists. There is a high need for skilled therapists who specialize in providing therapy to teens and young adults who can address the unique challenges they face today.
Working with teens and young adults is much different than working with older adults. It takes a unique skill set and personality. Those who have that unique skill set are those therapists who have dedicated their time and focus in their careers helping teens overcome the complex challenges of today.
Many practices work with teens and young adults, but also work with seniors, adults, couples, children, etc. These would be generalist practices, similar to a family doctor. They may have experience working with teens but do not specialize in teen therapy and family counseling. There is a need for generalist therapists.
There is also a high need more than ever for experts who specialize in teen therapy, young adult counseling, and family therapy. Much like a cardiologist dedicated their career specializing in the heart, we have chosen to focus on one specific area of therapeutic practice in the family system: teens, young adults, and families.
At Katy Teen & Family Counseling, our mission for the teens, young adults, and families in the Katy, Tx and Houston area is:
"Through teen, young adult, and family counseling, we help you live a life of awesomeness by overcoming the obstacles of today, thereby preventing the challenges of tomorrow."
